PMVDY (Pradhan Mantri Van-Dhan Yojana) under Ministry of Tribal Affairs, TRIFED:
Assam Plains Tribes Development Corporation Ltd. has been working as an Implementing Agency in Assam since 2018 for the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Van-Dhan Yojana in the state. This scheme aims at transforming the Minor Forest Produce of the Tribals into wealth so that they have a sustainable future ahead. Under this scheme, 128 numbers of Van Dhan Vikas Kendra Clusters (VDVKC) are set up. Each VDVKC consists of 300 or more members (tribals) from 30 Self-Help Groups (SHGs).
There are 3(Three) core elements under this scheme: –
- Van Dhan Vikas Kendra Cluster
- MSP (Minimum Support Price) for MFP (Minor Forest Produce)
- Infrastructure Development-Construction of Haat Bazaars and Storage Godowns.

- Family Oriented Income Generation Scheme(FOIGS)
- State Owned Priority Development (SOPD)
- Article 275(I) of Constitution by Government of India.
